Choosing your first motorcycle.

When choosing your first bike, there are a lot of things to consider but the main factor should be the purpose of the bike. Are you getting one as a daily commute? Are you using it for  business or just for weekend leisure rides? Other factors such as looks, performance, reliability, price, and others should follow. This way, you could easily decide what kind of bike you need before deciding which brand or model to go with. It narrows down the list of bikes you have in mind.

Once you have your top 3 or top 5, go visit different showrooms to check on the ergonomics of the bike. Go sit on it and make sure to take photos of you riding the bike just so you can compare the fit with your other choices later on.

Tip: Don’t worry if you find the bike too high. Once you get used to it, you’d only need to put one foot down at a time.

Don’t forget to consider the location of the bike's service center as this will serve as your initial go-to place should anything go wrong. Once decided, give it a little more thought, and if you’re sold with the bike, then it's time to go and get it! Enjoy the ride and ride safe.
